Structured classical ballet training for ages 9 and up
Explore the ProgramA complete, structured pre-professional curriculum. Students enroll in a full package of classes per level and follow a defined progression year over year. This is the core of MG Ballet School's classical training — the same model used by leading ballet schools worldwide.
A clear academic pathway that develops technique, artistry, and physical readiness year after year.
Professional instruction rooted in a rigorous, expressive, and internationally respected ballet tradition.
Ballet technique is supported by repertoire, PBT, contemporary training, and pointe preparation.
Ages 9–10
Classical Training Level I is the entry point into our structured academic ballet program for students ages 9–10 with little to no prior training. Following the Cuban ballet methodology, students develop correct technique, posture, musicality, and artistic expression through progressive barre and center work. Small class sizes ensure personalized attention and steady progression toward Level II.

Ages 11–12
Classical Training Level II advances students who have completed Level I or demonstrate equivalent technique. This level introduces more complex combinations, increased musicality, and a deeper study of the Cuban ballet methodology. Students build strength, flexibility, and artistic confidence as they prepare for pointe work and future progression within the program.

Opening 2027–2028
A flexible training option for students ages 9 and up who want structured classical ballet instruction without the full Training Program commitment. The Open Program offers the same professional-level classes and faculty — with a schedule built around the student's availability.
Every new student begins with a level evaluation. Based on your child's background and physical development, our faculty will recommend the right starting point and the classes that best support their goals.
Families then choose a weekly class package. Ballet class is always included because it is the foundation of everything we teach. Complementary classes are recommended by the instructor and selected by the family.
All packages follow the 10-month academic year from August through May. A $45 registration fee applies.

Boys are welcome at MG Ballet School from the youngest age. Male dancers follow the same class schedule as their peers within the Training Program — and they are a vital, celebrated part of what we build here.
Our boys program is led by Luis Ledesma, a professional dancer trained at the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) in Havana — the same institution that shaped the careers of Cuba's most celebrated male dancers.
Luis does not teach the Cuban methodology as a technique studied in a manual. He was formed by it, performed in it, and brings that lived experience directly into every class.
